Our group is open to anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide, but it is not intended for those who have survived a suicide attempt. If you are seeking resources for suicide attempt survivors, please visit Suicide Anonymous or Speaking of Suicide.
Through This Together is a peer-led grief support group for individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. We provide a safe, confidential space to share experiences and lend support. Both in-person and virtual options are available.
Our meetings are not therapy sessions. They are opportunities to gather as peers who share an understanding of the unique grief that accompanies suicide loss. We seek to empower the transformation of hurt into hope by sharing our experiences, by providing personal reflections on managing difficult milestones, and by providing space to grieve and grow together.
The journey through suicide loss can feel less lonely with a community of support where free expression of grief is acceptable, confidentiality is observed, and compassion prevails. We celebrate diversity and embrace our differences as strengths while respecting the unique identities, lived experiences, and faith traditions of all members. Our hope is to foster an environment of purposeful inclusion where all feel safe, valued, and empowered to form meaningful connections.
Through This Together is committed to creating an inclusive environment. We prohibit discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, marital status, disability, age, or military status.
In order to create a safe and welcoming space for all survivors of suicide loss, we follow a set of guidelines. Learn more —>
